We stalled across from this bull at 2019 Canadian Western Agribition, which gave us the perfect opportunity to admire him - from everything we saw, it was no surprise to us that he was a tough competitor on show day! We have purchased bulls from Bender Shorthorns/Star P Farms for a number of years, and often we have trouble picking a favourite in their annual sale. Their 2020 sale was no exception, but after seeing Crimson at CWA, he was the bull we kept coming back to when we were selecting. We were thrilled to bring this guy home and cross him with some of our purebreds, and select commercial females, for the 2020 breeding season.

When looking at this bull, in addition to his cherry red colour, there are a number of things you can appreciate. Crimson is smooth made, and possesses an overall complete & eye appealing structure, including his thick top & admirable rib shape. He is also incredibly free moving, and boasts the Shorthorn docility - we are confident he will pass these qualities onto his progeny. This is a bull we think very highly of!
